You've handled the big stuff. The venue is booked, the rings are ordered, and the guys know where to be. Now it's pickup week — and if you've never rented formalwear before, you might be wondering what actually happens when you walk through our door.
Here's exactly what to expect.
You'll Get a Text When Your Order Is Ready
We'll send you a text notification as soon as your order is ready for pickup. Once you get that message, come in at your convenience — just make sure it's before the wedding day.
The closer you come in after receiving that text, the better. It gives us the most time to take care of anything before it becomes a time crunch.
Everyone Should Try Everything On
We strongly recommend that every member of the wedding party comes in to try on their full look — jacket, pants, shirt, vest or cummerbund, tie, pocket square, shoes. All of it.
When you're dressed, we go through the fit piece by piece. Jacket shoulders, sleeve length, trouser break, shirt collar. We want to see everything on you, because that's the only way to know it's right.
Nobody needs to come in as a group. Each person can stop in on their own schedule. Just come in before the wedding.
We Show You How to Wear It
Part of the fitting is making sure you know how to put yourself together on the morning of the wedding. We walk you through how to put on every accessory — the tie, the pocket square, the cufflinks, all of it.
You won't be standing in a hotel room the morning of your wedding watching YouTube tutorials. We've already covered it.
Everything Is Fixable — If We Know About It
Most of the time, everything fits perfectly and you're in and out. But occasionally something minor comes up — a missing button, a guy who lost a little weight since his measurements, a trouser length that needs a quick adjustment.
None of that is a problem. All of it is fixable when we know about it in the store. That's exactly why we ask everyone to try on. The fitting is your safety net — use it.
Before You Leave
We'll go over return instructions before you head out. Rentals come back the Monday after your wedding, in the bag they came in. No dry cleaning needed — that's handled on our end.
